What are Generic Medications?
Generic medication, is a medicine which is chemically equivalent to a brand-name product, but available under its generic chemical name (e.g. Vardenafil is a generic name of Levitra or Sildenafil is a generic name of Kamagra, Viagra and other). Generic medications is identical, safety, strength, route of administration, quality, performance characteristics and intended use. It is manufactured by the certified producer but not a producer of the original product. Generic drugs can be issued when the brands equivalent's patent expires. The only difference between brand name medications and generic drugs is that generics are always much less expensive. Savings of 30-80% can be made by purchasing generic drugs instead of name brand medication. The pharmaceutical industry is one of the controlled sectors in the world, it is under the supervision of international organizations and state authorities. Any medication either original or its complete copy undergoes the same quality test.
